故事发生在抗日战争时期。某市接连发生割喉凶杀案，每次都会留下一张梅花Q的扑克牌，神探孙少武介入侦破。他发现铁燕子和香雪俱乐部老板香雪都想获得死者遗失的翡翠，原来翡翠上竟刻有汪日会谈的机密。开古玩店的日特山本支使铁燕子骗孙少武与香雪到郊外，他亲自去警局窃翡翠，不料中计险些丧命。孙少武潜入铁燕子住处，打斗中铁燕子被人割喉谋杀。与此同时，香雪盗窃翡翠未果，悻悻离开警局。最后孙少武知悉，俱乐部的柳小琼正是杀手梅花Q，她的真名叫缨子，是个日本人。她为受汪日密谈受牵连而自杀的父亲报仇，杀死了很多无辜……。Ray runs North London's most powerful criminal gang, and his nephew Jude is a polished and successful member.
