本片改編自《三國演義》之「連環計」，由四屆亞洲影后林黛飾演貂蟬。劇情講述漢朝末年，太師董卓(羅維飾)專權禍國，諸侯群起聲討。忠臣王允(楊志卿飾)利用貂蟬的美色，離間董卓和其義子呂布(趙雷飾)，終使父子反目，呂布殺了董卓，並和貂蟬成為眷屬。。跟钻石有关系的事情还能纯洁到哪去，本片交错式的剧情会把悬念一直留到最后，故事的大概是这样的：三个贼盗窃一个罕见的无暇钻石失败，可是他们却撞见了一个价值连城的项链，他们三个互相猜忌，因为珍宝当前，谁敢相信谁？。U.S. Marine Richard “Mac” McKinney had planned to return home to Muncie, Indiana as a hero – in an American flag-draped coffin.
