霍心仪一生追求爱情，也追求财富。心仪母亲早逝，父亲又因生意失败，受不住破产打击而引火自焚。为了照顾弟妹，心仪凭着一张俏脸闯进娱乐圈。可惜，只能当一个半红不黑的女艺员。一次拍戏中途，心仪得罪了导演，被玩，几乎受辱，幸得助导章学礼帮她解围。章家与心仪父亲曾有生意往来，但霍家生意失败后，章家即时与之划清界线，令心仪看得明白何谓现实。。他们是分手工作室的四位成员：吴浩宇、王凯、陶紫苑、张梦萱。 工作室内开会，吴浩宇对自己接下分手工作室后，强调工作室的宗旨是“金钱至上”，陶紫苑则全程唱反调。 青青和闺蜜讨论起分手工作室，扬言自己和男友卢一哲的感情没人能破坏。闺蜜激青青定下赌约：请分手工作室试试卢一哲。 工作室完成了两个小案子：假装富豪，帮委托人甩掉拜金女；假装有精神疾病的姐姐，让委托人的相亲对象知难而退。随后，工作室收到了青青的申请表，同时他们收到了青青的男友——卢一哲的申请表，两人竟分别找到工作室，希望能让对方甩掉自己。吴浩宇宣布要把两边的钱都赚到手。。In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power.
